Kono yo no Hate (1994)

Sinopse: Maria is in need of money. Because her day-time job doesn’t pay enough, she works at night at a cabaret. She needs the money so that she can pay for her sister, Nana’s eyes operation. Shiro is a famous concert pianist. However, he isn’t happy with his marriage or his life in general. Maria and Shiro are united through a traffic accident, causing Shiro to be hospitalized. Faking amnesia and his identity, he stays at Maria’s place and eventually starts to work at the cabaret as a piano player. As you will find out later on, life was not meant for Maria and Shiro to find one another.

But a lot of things happen and of course, it is not that easy for them to be together and it always seems that they will not be able make it. But maybe there is a happy end after all ?
It is a very good JDorama about friendship, differences in society, prejudices and especially about love that seems to be above it all.

Sinopse: Brother Beat does not fail to deliver. It's a touching story about a widowed mother of 3 boys. Despite being in a single parent home they all manage to work together and form a close family bond. All members contribute to the household in one way or another. The mother, Haru, works at a supermarket while her oldest son, Tatsuya, is the main breadwinner working at an advertisement company. The 2nd son, Riku, is a bit of a playboy and is the main cause of grief in the family. The youngest, Junpei, is the sweet hard worker. He takes care of the meals and household duties.
Tatsuya and his brothers are three good-lookers who, along with their useless live-wire of a mother, keep getting into all sorts of scrapes - in love and at work. This is the Sakurai household, where everything hangs loose and everyone always speaks their mind.
